The Traditional Spring Summit Of Cheap Laser Graphics 2010
“FORCED ART”
The summit of cheap laser graphics, now in its second, already traditional edition, brings you black and white works printed on laser printers and unprovoked phenomenal partying till midnight! The heated laser printers shall print the works of over 80 creative souls from Serbia, the region, the diaspora and the world.
For a mere 100 dinars (1 euro) you will be able to purchase a freshly printed piece of art. Art has never been closer to the average consumer! The edge of subsistence, the general devaluation of the dinar, unpaid bills, debts and all the other pains of our transitional everyday life are no longer an excuse for not having a piece of art in your posession.
Under the starry skies, in the Veljković Pavilion (CZKD, 21 Birčaninova St), this event shall have its baptism of fire in front of Belgrade audience on Monday, 10th May. The opening ceremony shall be enhanced by performances of a plethora of (somewhat) young DJs on two stages. Furthermore, on Tuesday, May 11th, the closing ceremony shall be held.
EXCLUSIVELY: Discover what the world would like if designers were given complete creative freedom. Behold the ideals of designers and visual artists other than their personal struggles to fight poverty. Instead of buying a bottle of beer, acquire a work of an artist who does not turn on his computer for less than a 1000 Euro or be the first to purchase a work of a student who is just emerging on the art scene/market!
